Eight members attended this meet in which we had two bitterly cold days on the hill.

Bucketloads of snow made just getting to the hut a bit of an adventure.

Saturday dawned cold and sunny but with minor roads probably snowbound we opted to walk/ski from the hut.

Five members climbed through the deep, soft snow to traverse Meall a Bhuiridh and Creise. Partial cloud inversion was pretty spectacular as the sun started to go down.

Two skied out towards Black Corries.

We enjoyed a convivial night blethering and yarning in the hut once we got it (and ourselves) thawed out.

Sunday, the skiers went along the West Highland Way to Forest Lodge and back again. One member had a good day downhill ski-ing.

Another three stopped off at Strathyre to climb Beinn Sithein.

An excellent meet and a great start to the year.

Having got to the top of Meall nan Ruadhag on the XC skis with MM, BR checks he still has 5 x fingers!
