Although the walk began in a light drizzle, the forecast suggested conditions would improve from around 10am. Before long, the group was rewarded with excellent views of the mountain. Eleven intrepid hikers attended this meet to celebrate the 50 years that FVMC members have been enjoying the hills. A simple day walk for a complicated time of year, weather wise. A half day would suffice. SP and ARob ascended Beinn Each on the east side of Loch Lubnaig near Callander. The out and back ascent of the Corbett via Glen Ample and Beinn Each’s west ridge was straight forward and both members were happy that the forecasted harsh weather did not make an appearance. There was excellent attendance at the annual dinner meet. Several groups walked on Saturday and Sunday.
