This meet was attended by seven members: TF, MMcE, MMon, JR, ARob, BR & CS
We had (mostly) lovely weather, and not too many midgies. We enjoyed our cozy bunk house, getting out for dinner at the Dundonnell hotel just down and road one evening, and sneaking in a few dips and bucket showers to keep fresh.

ARob was already out in the Corbetts from Thursday 16th, climbing Beinn Aorigh Charr and Beinn a Chaisgein Mor from Poolewe.
Saturday July 18th
MMon, JR, TF (and wee Flick) hiked An Teallach (2 Munros). We walked from the hut down the road to Ardessie, then walked up past the waterfalls to Sgurr Ruadh, Sgurr Creag an Eich, Sgurr Fiona, Bidean à Glas Thuil, and descend via Meall Garbh. Unfortunately we were in the clouds from about 500 m, so didn’t get much in the way of views, but had an enjoyable day out (~9 hrs, 20 km, including the walk along the road).

CS, MMcE & BR hiked Corbett Carn Ban, using the bikes from the southern end of Strath Vaich (Black Bridge).

Sunday July 19th
CS & MMcE hiked Beinn Ghobhlach – a Graham on the north shore of Loch Broom (incidentally looking across the loch to Sail Mhor where TF was walking). From Badralloch, they took the coastal path, then striking uphill on rough ground to the rim above the twin lochans. From there directly between the lochans and up the steep front of the hill. A short explore round the corrie rim, then they descended east, then southwest back to the lochans, returning by the outward route.

JR & MMon climbed Munro Sgùrr Nan Clach Geala near Braemore.

ARob climbed Corbett Beinn a Chlaidheimh (Corrie Hallie).

TF climbed Corbett Sail Mhor from the bunkhouse and up from Ardessie. She enjoyed a wee dip in the waterfall pools on the return leg.

All in all, a fine weekend out!
