TF led a day walk in the Ochils from Dollar Glen, attended by 6 additional walkers (ARob, CS, BR, SP, AM, JMcC), including two prospective new members. It was a wet day from the beginning until almost the end, but that didn’t stop the group from taking on a nearly 6 hour walk, covering 15 km and almost 900 m of ascent. The route started from Dollar museum, up the west side of Dollar Glen past the golf course, overlooking Castle Campbell. The group did a clockwise loop, taking in Bank Hill, King’s Seat, Tarmangie Hill, and Whitewhisp Hill, before descending  to the east to meet the track that cuts through to Glen Devon and back down past the castle carpark. The day ended on a warm note with hot chocolate at the Aviary Cafe.
