January Day Walk, Saturday 24th, Beinn Each

 

A simple day walk for  a complicated time of year, weather wise. A half day would suffice. SP and ARob ascended Beinn Each on the east side of Loch Lubnaig near Callander.  The out and back ascent of the Corbett via Glen Ample and Beinn Each’s west ridge was straight forward and both members were happy that the forecasted harsh weather did not make an appearance. A few snow drifts and some ice made the ascent interesting along with occasional views of Loch Lubnaig.
