Another welcome return to National Trust’s bunkhouse at Kintail, https://www.nts.org.uk/holiday-accommodation/bunkhouses/kintail-outdoor-centre but this time with less promising weather compared to last year’s trip on 14-16/04/23. Consequently no photos are available from the Saturday when folk made ascents of the Fiona Car nan Cruithneachd, NG 99444 25847, and the Corbett at the end of the connecting ridge, Sgurr an Airgid, NG 94007 22743. However photos from the Sunday activities are as follows.

Sunday of Kintail meet. NNcE & GB made a trip over the pass to Glenelg and on to Arnisdale and the car park near Corran at the road end, NG 85012 09453. The target was the Fiona Beinn Clachach, NG 88585 10914, SE of the neighbouring the Corbetts Beinn na h-Eaglaise, NG 85440 12003 and Beinn nan Caorach, NG 87146 12118. Pic shows the view back to Kintail as they drove up the pass.

From the summit, looking NW to the neighbouring Corbetts Beinn na h-Eaglaise and Beinn nan Caorach.

The return journey featured a rather wonky bridge!

The achievement of getting the Beinn Clachach done was made even more satisfying considering that the weather for the late afternoon looked very dreich!

More wintry activity that Sunday, EA takes a pic of SP, MM & AS at the summit of Am Bhathach, NH 07316 14323, Glen Shiel.

A good weekend despite the bad weather.
