The long weekend meet to Craignure Bunkhouse on Mull wasattended by seven members and one guest and went off reasonably well. Of course, the previous several weeks' good weather had to break down just as this meet came around!

Saturday dawned grey and wet and everyone decided that low level walks were a better option so some exploring was done in different parts of the island.

The forecast for the Sunday was a bit better and three members set off to climb the island's only Corbett (Dun da Gaoithe) by a route from a bit north of Craignure. Two other members drove round to lonely Loch Buie and set off up Creach Beinn (a Graham) in low cloud. No views until the clouds were blown away as they sat on the summit eating lunch. Return was by the same route and the rains come down as they reached the valley floor.

Three members stayed low and took the cultural option visiting Duart Castle.

Monday saw two members left on the island and they went for the soft option on a windy day climbing Dun da Gaoithe via the Land Rover track which accesses the comms aerials on the hill.

The same two members also climbed Beinn Talaidh and Sgurr Dearg on separate days and enjoyed an eight hour traverse of Cruachan Dearg, Corra Beinn, Beinn Meadhoine and Cruach Coireadail also.
