Summary: An intrepid group of 8 summited many a Corbett with some beautiful landscapes, despite the mostly misty summits.

A few of the members tackled walks on the way up. There were four different groups out on each Saturday and Sunday (shown below). ARob’s Corbett bagging adventures continued all the way until the following Wednesday!
Day 1 – Saturday, June 14
i) BR and IH: Sail Mhor (Corbett)

ii) ARob: Creag Rainich (Corbett)

iii) PB: Baosbheinn (Corbett)

iv) CS, LA, MMcE, MMcL: Walk from Aultbea to the Fionn Loch
An 18 km circuit along clear track over undulating moorland. Lots of birds and wildlife, as well as stunning views of Beinn Chaisgein Mor, Beinn Lair, and Beinn Airgh Charr from the Loch.
Day 2 – Sunday, June 15
i) ARob and MMcE: Beinn Dearg Mòr and Beinn Dearg Bheag (Corbetts)
After cycling in to Loch na Sealga, walked along the shore to corrie outflow, then up into corrie and up onto saddle. Views from corrie, but no views at summits. A fairly challenging day over rough ground.

ii) BR, IH and PB: Beinn Lair (Corbett). IH and BR continued on to Meall Mheinnidh (Fiona)

iii) LA and CS: Beinn Airigh Charr (Corbett)
Navigation required some work, as the mists gathered during our ascent. Enjoyable walk through varied terrain, woodland, heathery slopes, a short section through a gorge, cliffs, and scree nearer the top.

iv) MMcL paid a visit to Inverewe gardens
