Early September, 03/09/23, saw an FVMC Day Walk to Stob Daimh, see; https://consumerplatform.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/route/18960640/230903--stob-garbh-and-stob-daimh?lat=56.424892&lon=-5.099136&zoom=14.6375&style=Leisure&type=2d
The start was from Cruachan Railway Station, NN 07933 26809 and headed N up the path then track to just beyond its end, NN 08286 28300, then eventually E up to the beallach, then N again, first to the Munro top Stob Garbh, NN 09558 30247, then finally to Stob Daimh, NN 09459 30854.

The day was disappointing in terms of visibility. NMcD takes a pic of ARob in front, followed by MM, ARod, AS & GM, just about 10 minutes from true summit of Sob Daimh.

On the slopes of Stob Daimh taken around 920/930m, enjoying the view of a gully.

Having reached the summit of Stob Daimh, the increasingly dreich weather made a return journey, back the way they came, a more attractive proposition than pushing onto Ben Cruachan, NN 06969 30479. Pic taken a bit above the reservoir on the descent.

Looking north over Cruachan Reservoir, NN 08133 28680, from the lower SW slopes of Stob Garbh.
Despite not getting to Cruachan it was an enjoyable stretch of the legs, covering 11.0km and about 1027m of ascent.
