10/12/22 Day Walk: Earls Seat, Campsie Fells

On 10/12/22, ARob organised a walk in the Campsies to tackle Earl’s Seat, NS 56993 83808 from Dumgoyne distillery.

This was an optimistic choice of date since the previous evening the FVMC had had their Christmas Swally in the Four Marys! It turned out fine as several participants chose to clear their heads, namely IMcM, CS, PF, GG and AS. The ground was rock solid, with some icy patches and a little lying snow. There and back in four and a half hours, omitting Dumgoyne as time was tight and daylight was running out. Great views over Loch Lomond and Arrochar Alps etc.
