Another NTS property that the club hadn’t visited for a while is the Kintail Outdoor Centre, NG 96675 21063. The weekend had some frosty weather in store with some beautiful views of snow-capped tops. Some stories follow.

On the way up on Friday BR & RB climbed Beinn Bhan, NN 14058 85701. Pic taken looking south from its eastern shoulder towards Fort William and the NE corner of Loch Linnhe…you can just see the snowline beneath the clouds.

On Friday too, MMcE had a solo trip up the Corbett Druim nan Cnamh, NH 13110 07681, (Beinne Loinne's west peak) from Cluanie, in suitably snowy conditions. Pic shows crossing the river Cluanie looking east.

Our home for the weekend.

On Saturday BR had a solo walk from the Kintail Outdoor Centre to the Fiona Car nan Cruithneachd, NG 99444 25847, as seen from the path on the SW.

From there he had a fine view of A Ghlas bheinn, NH 00824 23115.

Then looking SW to the final objective, the Corbett Sgurr an Airgid, NG 94007 22743, centre pic.

After heading off SW, and regaining the ridge again, it was time for a look back at Car nan Cruithneachd.

Finally, he arrived at the top of the Corbett Sgurr an Airgid. Looking SW along the Five Sisters ridge with Sgurr Fhuaran, NG 97864 16721, standing proud.

Also on Saturday TF, SP & MM got their boots into the snow on the South Cluanie Ridge, pictured here at the top of Creag a Mhaim, NH 08790 07818, looking NW along the ridge towards Druim Shionnach, NH 07437 08532.

Looking SW towards Loch Cuaich from a point between Aonach air Chrith, NH 05100 08361 and Meal Chinn-dearg, NH 03233 08828.

On Saturday PB had a solo expedition in the glorious sunshine with the snow lying above 650 metres. He climbed 2 x Corbetts; Sgumain Coinntich, NG 97664 30359, and Faochaig, NH 02186 31715. A long day it was - 11 hours! Pic shows his encounter with wild goats at the start of the first ascent.

Magnificent panoramic views from the top.

On Saturday a group of ladies CS, EA, LG & MMcE…and Harry The Dog, climbed the Corbett Sgurr Mhic Bharraich, NG 91761 17367, with fabulous views of the nearby giants. Here we see them on the track heading south on the east side of the Allt Undalain.

The climb begins up trackless ground that gets steeper.

View east a Graham Biod an Fhithich, NG 95060 14730, on the left and The Saddle, NG 93483 13079 on the right.

The summit gained with fabulous views.

On the way down looking south to Loch a Coire Uaine, NG 92827 13384, tucked in below The Saddle.

On Sunday LG & MMcE climbed Sgurr an Airgid, NG 94007 22743, walking from the accommodation. Pic shows the view looking SW to the SE end of Loch Duich.

Dreich weather but smiles at the top.

BR & RB had an equally dreich day on the Sunday, ascending Corbett Sgurr Mhic Bharraich, NG 91761 17367. Pic shows them descending towards the north, with Morvich in the background.

Great pics and write-up. Sorry I missed this meet!
