The date of 15/05/21 was the first time that the FVMC had a chance to get out and about on a Day Walk since Covid restrictions. This time focussed on the Graham Stob/Meall na Frean - NN 49141 23177. Due to the size of the party possibly creating some parking problems we decided to approach the hill from two directions; Northern Route – from Ledcharrie and a Southern Route – from Balquhidder, meeting at Lochan an Eireannaich then heading SW to the top. Eight humans and Harry. The highest number of FVMC members in one place for 18 months.

The southern approach from Balquhidder.

Looking back south.

The southern route had a more dramatic approach!

Rob Roy’s Putting Stone.

Lonely Lochan an Eireannaich, where the northern and southern groups met.

…that’s where we are going – across yon tedious bog!

The hill needs to drink water too…

At last!
