A mixed bag this month with members bog trotting on Touchadam Muir, encountering peculiar dams above Killin, being led up the The Ochils by a retired sheep dog named Tibby, posing beside Loch Turret and lastly getting the proverbials frozen off at the top of Creagan na Beinne.

AS enjoys a ramble over Touchadam Muir near North Third Reservoir, near Stirling. Bright but chilly on 01/01/21.

The view of Ben Each, Stuc a Chroin and Ben Vorlich.

On 18/04/21 BR & IH have a quick saunter up the Graham Creag Gharbh from Killin on the way passing the curiously bent dam at Lochan Braeclaich … some lochan!

The Ochils on 20/04/21. A wander up Alva Glen, up the steep grass of The Cloves, east to Ben Buck and Ben Cleuch for a late lunch. Descended by the flank of Ben Ever and Silver Glen to return to Alva. A bit hazy but it only drizzled for about 10 minutes. Splendid return to the hills!

Some interesting vegetation in Alva Glen.

Not quite at the top yet but all four heads facing forwards at once. Bengengie ‘crag’ in the background.

On 25/04/21 BR and IH managed a mountain biking trip from Crieff to Loch Turret … braw day oot.

Mr H admires the scenery.

Looking toward the end of Loch Turret with Ben Chonzie dominating the skyline.

Lastly, a longish walk from Invergeldie, Glen Lednock, to Creagan na Beinne. BR, AR & JI looking cold on the summit just before the blizzard kicked in.

…and here it comes!
