Day walk: 27th July, 2025 – Creag Leacach, Glas Maol and Cairn of Claise

Six FVMC members tackled three Munros near the ski centre at Glenshee. 

Attendees: SP, TF, LA, VD, ARob, EP


Route: Anti-clockwise, climbing Creag Leacach first, then traverse ridge in NE direction, return by contour at ski lift around Glas Maol, descending to Meall Odhar, then descending Leacann Dubh to return to car park. Time out was about 7 hours, covering ~17.5 km and ~1000 m elevation gain. Map: red shows the outward route and black the return.
