Saturday 16/02 saw three members on Brown Cow Hill. This featured a circular route from Corgaff castle car park, up track to summit of Carn Oighreag, then over to Brown Cow Hill and over the last km to the Corbett summit (unnamed). Then descending Sron Bhuic to the Glen and the track back to the castle via Inchmore bothy. Lots of red grouse, white mountain hares and pheasants too. Also that day three of us were on Lochnagar, with another cycling beyond White Bridge and another checking the slopes of Morrone,

Sunday 17/02 witnessed a mass FVMC circular jaunt up Morrone, heading up the track on east and to a very, very breezy summit. A couple of very loose strips of galvanised metal lay around one of the buildings having been stripped recently from a roof by the fierce wind. A quick descent north east heading for the Bothy Café via the new highland games pavilion!

Starting from Corgarff Castle.

The actual summit of Brown Cow Hill at 829m.

Inchmore...locked!

The long and winding road to spiky Morrone.

...the wind is blowing the selfie stick to the side!

A brand new pavilion
