Grey Corries Meet 18 - 19th of October progressed well with the usual mix of Four Season Weather. The accommodation was an 'upgrade' to a cottage since they had double booked us at their bunkhoose. It was indeed more comfortable and spacious than what the hostel could have offered.
Much done over the days; Munro Stob Coire Easain, with Allan, Malcolm and Christine, then on to do Corbetts Sgurr Innse and Cruach Innse. Following day off with Malcolm and Christine to do Corbett Meall a Phubuill. Four of us went on to spend a couple of days at the Alex Mac Memorial Hut. From the AMMH we did Glas Bheinn, a Corbett wi a view, located 3km north of the west end of the Blackwater Reservoir...a mountain that GG assures me I had been up before with him - and his records showed it, 16 x years ago in the mist!

On Meall a Phubuill wi Malcolm and Christine.

Our approach from Kinlochleven toward the Blackwater Reservoir.

...Malcolm's strong pace was too much for the bridge.

...it's a remarkable dam - and their not too keen for you to traverse it!

A fine view of the Blackwater reservoir from it's dam.
