General November 2022 Activity: Chapelgill Hill& Beinn a Choin

AS & GG had a couple of days out in November 2022.

They took advantage of the decent weather on 21/11/22 and headed into the Southern Uplands to climb Chapelgill Hill, NT 06661 30383, Cardon Hill, NT 06504 31535 and Culter Fell, NT 05285 29098. Bit of ground frost firmed up some boggy bits. Strong wind higher up but it stayed dry and the tops were clear around them.

Their second trip was on 28/11/22 on a very wet underfoot day on Beinn a Choin, NN 35430 13048, above Loch Arklet. This shows the clouds parting just before they reached the summit.
