It's good to see that we are still venturing forth. Two trips recently featured the auld favourites Stuc a Chroin, south from Braeleny farm, and a little visited Graham, Meall Mor, west from Inverlochlarig.

Stuc a Chroin on the left and Ben Vorlich on the right as seen from the Stuc's south eastern ridge, accessed from Arivurichardich. We only did the Stuc that day. In my view this is the best approach to these mountains, in particular if going anticlockwise.

MM & AS just off the summit. Boy it was busy that day with folk coming up from other routes. However not a soul on our approach!

From Arivurichardich, Ben Each centre top and MM & BR in the foreground.

The next trip chased a Graham, Meall Mor, west of Inverlochlarig, west of Balquihidder. Nearing the top of Meall Mor we see in the north, Beinn Chabhair left, An Caisteal centre, and Beinn a Chroin right. T'was a steep continuous pull south up to the top of this tough little Graham and another steep descent from it's eastern top Stob an Duibhe. Overall a tougher day than the Stuc a Chroin walk of the previous week.

Looking east toward Balquihidder.

AS approaching the summit of Meall Mor with An Caisteal centre horizon.
