Excluding the Day Walk and Camping meet, the month of June also saw many different activities covering much of Scotland and the north of England. On 05/06/21 MMcE took a solo up Windlestraw Law; 19/06/21 saw PB spend a couple of days up in Elphin; on 20/06/21 AMc and friends took part in the Lake District Mighty Hike; on 25/06/21 DM & SL spent some time on Scaffel Pike; lastly PB returns to Skye with friends on 27/06/21.

05/06/21; MMcE’s solo outing to Windlestraw Law (659m), the highest Moorfoot. From Innerleithen, climbing up ridge from Pirn Hill Fort, Kirnie Law, Priesthope hill, Glede Knowe, past a large Cairn which gave a glimpse of the trig point another km away. Amazing views of Eildon hills, Pentlands, Arthur's seat and the Bass rock. Return by outward route. This pic shows Innerleithen on the outward journey.

20/06/21: AMc & pals completed the 26 mile Lake District mighty hike for Macmillan cancer support. It was a tough day out but with absolutely stunning scenery…this is a view shortly after the start.

…the only way is down.

…well done boys!

25/06/21; more of the team, DMcC and SL on a VERY DREICH Scaffel Pikle!

27/06/21; PB returns to Skye for a reunion with some friends. Staying in a house in Ardvasar on Sleat, the plan was to climb the two Corbetts Garbh Bheinn and Glamaig. Both targets were achieved although the weather was less than ideal. Here we see the descent from Garbh Bheinn.

Rassay from lower slopes of Glamaig.
