A dreich drive to Skye got even dreicher on the Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday, AS, ARog, Jamie, MM and MMcE ventured onto the Cullin and got very wet and windblown on Sgurr na Banachdich but did reach the top. Descent was not done in textbook fashion and they spent quite a while faffing around trying to locate the path they had ascended but got down safely without too much drama.

GG and MMcL went down to the south of the island and did a Graham (which one guys? I can't remember it's name).

Sunday, AS and ARog, Jamie, MM, GG, DY, LY and MMcL went to meet an ''Old Man'' up Portree way. DY, LY and MMcL had more sense than to go high but the others fearlessly ventured on to the top of The Storr and Harteval in mist and (more) rain.

Monday dawned sunny and warm (what a surprise)! GG went Graham hunting and had a good time on Belig.

AS and MM sweated up Glamaig and enjoyed wonderful views to the Black Cuillin and up to Trotternish etc.

The descent and ascent on to Beinn Dearg Mhor was pretty grim on loose scree and small boulders but the traverse over to Beinn Dearg Mheadhonach was enjoyable.

Tuesday GG and AS went to the north west of the island and tramped out to Macleod's Maidens (sea stacks) in glorious sunshine.

To be continued (if the others tell me what they did).
