A good number of members signed up for this meet which was based in the sleeping car at Glenfinnan Station which, ultimately, proved a bit of a squeeze for a club meet.

That apart, it was a successful weekend with several Munros, Corbetts and Grahams ''bagged''.

Hills climbed included Sgurr Thuilm, Sgurr nan Coireachan, Sgurr an Utha, Beinn Bhan (Gairlochy), Beinn Mhic Cedidh, Beinn Odhar Beag, Meall an Damh, Glas Bheinn and no doubt one two others which I now cannot remember.

Three members and a guest stayed on at Glenfinnan for a couple of days.

Monday was a bit of a washout but we were privileged to get a private showing of the Scottish Mountain Heritage Collection which is looked after by mountain guide Mick Tighe at his Glen Roy croft. It's a real treasure trove of mountaineering through the ages.

Tuesday we climbed Druim Fada near Gairlochy en route for a couple of days at Milehouse in Glen Feshie.

Wednesday two of us climbed Carn Ghlas Coire north of Carrbridge and two of us elected for a ramble round Inshriach Forest. Thursday two of us climbed Carn na h'Esgainn up past Tomatin whilst the others enjoyed a fine high level wander around the Cairngorm plateau.
