April 2015 Weekend Meet: Station Lodge, Tulloch, Roybridge

Good trip to Tulloch Station bunkhouse. Weather was cold & windy, with snow showers & sunny intervals. No hills were gained on Saturday due to the weather. An estimated 40k cycle (subsequently calculated to be 58k) was made instead. We took the bikes on the train from Tulloch station to Corrour halt. After a cycle to Corrour lodge and shelter from a fierce snow shower the decision was made not to try for the hills. Sight of a displaying Black grouse behind Corrour lodge. Cycle was made fom Corrour lodge to Moy, Moy to lovely Lochan na Earba, into Ardverikie estate, where front bike wheel nearly detached and we discovered to East Highland way, Ardverikie to Moy along Loch Laggan South shore, Moy to Tulloch Station along road.

Sunday was a shorter day, a walk up to the top of Glen Righ at Onich via the waterfalls.
