Eleven members attended the October meet as the tail end of Hurricane Ophelia hovered over the country.

Consequently the weather was a bit grey and murky although the tops were, in the main, cloud free at least on the Saturday.

Hills climbed ranged from Grahams to Corbetts and Munros eg Sgurr an Utha, Streap, Roisbhein, Meall Onfhaidh and Stob Ban.

Bothies visited included Gleann Dubh Lighe and Glen Suileag.

It was very grey and wet on the Sunday morning so most of us either went home immediately or visited the very nice Wetherspoon's pub in Fort Bill for a late breakfat/early lunch before driving down the road.

Unfortunately the sun whas shining by this time and it became a day of missed opportunities but for those who stayed behind and climbed a hill or two it was reportedly pretty wild on high.

Four members remained in Lochaber based at the Alex Macintyre Memorial Hut at Onich for a few days and bagged the Beinn Bheitheir Munros and a couple of Grahams - Beinn na Gucaig and Tom Mheadhoin.

A waterfall on the descent from Beinn na Gucaig – GG.
