Seven members attended on what turned out to be a tremendous weekend weather-wise with far-reaching views from the snowy Cairngorm summits.
Big days out were achieved on the Saturday viz: Beinn a Bhuird (bike and hike); Carn an Ealar/An Sgarsoch (bike and hike); Ben McDhui/Carn a Mhaim (hike) and several Munros around Glen Ey (hike). Another party enjoyed a less strenuous low-level ramble around Glen Derry/Glen Quioch.
The previous day two early starters (must be great being retired) bagged Tolmount and Tom Bhuidhe when they discovered insufficient snow on the high ground for a decent ski tour.
Sunday was also lovely but most of us were a bit fatigued from our exertions the previous day although four members stopped off at Dunkeld and explored the area around Cave Crag, Lover's Leap, Lady Charlotte's Cave and the Rocking Stone (which doesn't by the way). A nice wee leg stretcher.
Carn na Drochaide was also ascended on the Sunday.
